We tried to visit the museum on Saturday, 27th July, but the museum was closed when we arrived mid morning. The folks in the nearby Irish Tourist Board offices couldn't help - they didn't know...

Not impressed. Very unhelpful to turn up and find a "back in 20 mins" sign during the supposed opening hours. Waited over 25 mins and when the 2 staff eventually bothered to turn up one of them was rather rude and refused to apologise for keeping us waiting over 25 minutes. She then made up a laughable excuse of going for lunch...at 4pm....! Why do 2 people need to go for lunch - couldnt one have stayed? Very poor!!

Allows 81 toffas to have a piss up when guidelines state only 50 permitted. No thought for their staff, hotel industry or public safety. This place should be closed down

Unfortunately you learn only at the door that the museum is closed for the rest of the year!(though the board next to the entrance indicates open till 31OCT.) please info also digitally, thanks!
