  • The history of Michael Collins was extremely fascinating, and as so many places Whether in Europe or in the US there's always jealousy running a mock in the Political arena. I felt myself from what I'd heard and read and seen that Michael Collins tend to be Slightly egotistical. But then again that's my opinion. The walls/fencing appears slate and the fencing is lined with scrub that is so neatly trimmed that they appear to be flowing in the wind.
  • Went to the centre today and was given a very informative presentation on Michael Collins by Tadhg Crowley. Very well presented. Full of astonishing memorabilia of Collins, Tom Barry and many others. There is also a very well kept replica collection of the touring vehicles used in the ambush at Béal na Blath. I was able to purchase two books written by Tim Crowley and a mug at a very good price in the gift shop. My little fella had a great day , I will be recommending to friends who share an interest in the fantastic history of this great land. Thanks again to Tim,Delores and Tadhg!!!
  • The best place if you want to learn about Michael Collins birth , life and death . the owner is a real passionate! an absolutely brilliant presentation.
  • Suitable for all ages and all levels of knowledge and interest. A must see for a trip to West Cork and I'd recommend going out of your way to experience local historian story telling. A fantastic collection of artifacts too. They truly care about the history of Ireland and bring to life one of its most icon and tragic moments. Our 10 year old budding historian ate everything up, 8 year old who had no interest said it was pretty cool. No Adults were disappointed. We will be recommending to all those who cross our paths.
  • A truly remarkable tour. Approximately 1.5 hours long, it is worth every minute. The guide is a distant relative, a historian by profession and he doesn't gloss over the darker sides of that time. It attempts to explain who may have shot Michael Collins and it is very possible he has identified the sniper. Well worth putting on the list of 'A Must' when you are in the area. The best tour explaining that era.
