  • Wonderful place to visit with ample free parking. A small, reasonable charge for entrance (€9 per adult) The sun shone, the gardens were exceptional. The walkways in great order. Suitable for all age groups (and wheelchair users) and beautifully maintained grounds. Lots of space to picnic. A fabulous lake with wildfowl and stunning peacocks. And, when weary from walking, an amazing large cafe with many gluten free cakes. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Best place for a family day out. Beautiful and friendly peacocks, that you can feed out of your hand, a lovely castle, a fun playground and lovely food too. There was also a very interesting and cool museum which we really enjoyed! We are gonna return here for sure next time we are back in Wexford! We actually came on a car show day so we got to see many beautiful cars 👀
  • One of the most beautiful and amazing places I've been to in Ireland. Would highly recommend a visit. Suitable for all age groups. Hopefully I'll get back again to see more of this magical place. Loved every minute of my trip there. Thank you for looking after our heritage. 🦋
  • Johnstown Castle is a great place for a refreshing walk. Very easy to get your steps in without feeling it. I really enjoyed the walk. Also, the nature photographs really well. You can sit at the cafe after the walk to enjoy some coffee and treat yourself to a nicely deserved dessert.
  • We love coming here with our dog. The scenic view of the castle and its grounds are astounding. The cafe is great and dog friendly too. On a sunny day you should really get the best experience.
