Excellent exhibition - with guide (Emmet) and recordings. Very well organised exhibition - give yourself enough time to read various historical notes. Obviously an amount of money spent on this...

The content is superb - the presentation in all its various forms is among the best we have ever seen - anywhere! This is an absolute ‘must-see’ exhibition.

A very informative museum about (sad) Irish history. Learning about such events always leaves me to wonder how the course of history could have changed should those events go slightly differently. One visiting the rebellion center should also visit the Vinegar Hill, it is just a short walk there

Had our most recent Santa experience here for the kids. Was the first tour that evening and only 2 families (so not too busy). They did put on a great show for the kids with lots of different cartoon (especially Disney) characters. Our youngest (10 years old) definitely enjoyed it but I think it's more for slightly younger kids. Did feel a little bit rushed at times but I think this was more down to the kids not being interested in everything. The photo sale at the end was a bit of a rip-off (€50 for 3 pictures). Overall still a nice experience.

Great information available about the 1798 Rising. Arrangement of audio in adjacent rooms makes it difficult to concentrate on the audio one is listening to because of this. Cost €7+ per adult and no debit/cards taken! One person running both the visitors desk and the snack bar! (6 metres apart, at least)

Been wanting to visit the 1798 Rebellion Centre and did not disappoint! Short walk from the centre of Enniscorthy and €6 admittance fee with a short explanation from the reception and any questions you may have. The centre looks amazing inside and outside with a great and immersive experience of before, then and after the events of 1798 with personal stories of those who lived from re-enactments. Very well done and would recommend to anyone visiting or staying in Enniscorthy to visit if they can! Perfect place to learn abit of vital history in Ireland and the world.

Honestly, I first did not want to go, but the rest of the family insisted! BUT then it was great, starting with the extremely friendly ladies at the reception. The story about the 98 rebellion was displayed very nicely and quite interesting. Finally, we had some tea in the cafeteria… just great!
