  • Loved this place. Much quieter than dun aongusa, and the roads leading to it give a fabulously atmospheric sense of undisturbed ireland. No gift shops, interperative Centre, or entry fee.
  • Gorgeous! The building is beautiful and the view is amazing from there. Definitely is one of the most breathtaking view in the island!
  • Attention! This archaeological site is not to be confused with Dún Eochla; as Dún Aonghasa with Dún Duchathair. These are all four different archaeological sites dating from the Iron Age to the Early Middle Ages. Dùn Eoghanachta is an interesting primitive construction. A large and high circle of stones which, over the centuries, has performed many functions: from defense to pastoralism. It is a pity that the path is not marked and that there is no information. OPW, a task for you!
  • Beautiful place difficult to access but worth a view of the setting sun. Also the scarry tradition of looking over the edge of the highest cliffs in Western Europe into the Abyss that is the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Exhilarating!
  • Well worth the hike for incredible view and sense of ancient history
