Wild Kerry Day Tour with O'Connor Autotours, Killarney

A great low stress way to see and hear about the Ring of Kerry. Be ready for some nice old time stories and a couple of songs sung by the driver.

We went on this tour on a cloudy rainy Friday. We had a hard time finding the meet up place as it's not clearly marked, if we hadn't asked a guy on the street we would have missed the bus. The first stop's fee wasn't included in the price of the tour and I don't think it was worth it. The bus stayed on the main road and didn't veer off. There was some getting on and off the bus at the side of the road for pictures, not really exploring the towns or getting up close to the shore.

We very much enjoyed the tour and guide, John. Very entertaining and informative on local history and folk tales.

The tour guide we got was amazing and entertaining (John)... but the stops we did seemed to be affiliated tourist traps or a quick photo opportunity and back on the bus... we drove through villages without having the opportunity to have a look around. Also important to mention that the entry to the bog village (6€) and the entry to the dog sheep exhibition (6€) are not included in the price of the tour. I wouldn't recommend it, I think this company needs to rethink the way they are doing things.

This was an amazing way to tour the ring of Kerry. It was a great way to see and learn about a ton of different sights. Certain photos stops moved quickly where we simply hopped off, snapped a photo, and got back on the bus (which we appreciated). I will say that if you get motion sick to plan ahead with the appropriate supplies!!
