Our shellfish trailer is located at Avoca Hand weavers just outside Letterfrack on the\N59 . We are open from noon onwards until the end of September, weather permitting. You can sample our cooked shellfish here or you can buy them to take away and cook at home.

Killary Fjord Shellfish mussel farm, run by Simon and Kate is located on the breathtaking Killary Harbour, Irelands only Fjord.

Located in one of the most scenic parts of Ireland, Simon has farmed mussels here since the late 1980s. Today not only do we grow mussels for export but we also supply local restaurants and wholesalers with our finest mussel and other locally sourced shellfish.

Our dispatch centre is located in a refurbished boat house situated on the shores of Killary Fjord. It is here at the waters edge that our mussels are depurated, graded, de byssed, washed and packed into 5 or 10 kg bags. This unrivalled proximity to the Fjord means that our mussels have to be the finest, freshest mussels available for you to enjoy.

Amazing drive around the coastal road. Fantastic scenery. Stop and take in the sights. A guy in the Silver trailer will sell you a tea or coffee along the route.
