We landed in Cong and the rain followed. It was a beautiful town and the bridge was awesome. It overlooked the museum with the most beautiful flowers.

For those who gave it a bad review because you have never seen the movie , your loss !! It's great place , peaceful , beautiful, super easy to find , boards with details and photos available. If you know either actors or know the movie this is the place for you , if you love old irish things and peaceful tranquil places this is also the place for you x , enjoy 🇮🇪☘️

Wasn't what I was expecting it was hard to find but when your there at the bridge and known the great John Wayne was at the same spot it made the journey worthwhile..from there on to ruins of house and then on to the town of cong..statue in cong of John was lovely great trip would go again ...👌👌💖returned again 15.7.2021and easily found sign post was clear and facing road..
