A lovely park to spend a few hours in, we went on a very hot day so only did the short walk which was fairly well signposted although we did miss the access to the viewpoint over Loch Derg. Car park.... more

I loved Portumna Forest, a really well maintained forest park with clearly marked paths and waymarked walks of varying length and plenty of info boards about the flora and fauna. There's a free car...

There are a few different length routes to follow depending on your time and fitness. There are bike trails as well as walking ones. Lovely forest walks that comes out near Lough Derg at one point...

I love Portumna Forest Park. There is so much to do here. Some many trails. Bird watching. Right on the shores of Lough Derg. A very nice place for a family day out, there is so much to explore. The grounds are kept extremely well and the scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful park, loads of walking trails. Nice parking area with bathrooms and map of all the hikes. Scenery is beautiful on every walk. Also spotted a rare bird here which was cool.

Lovely safe park with lovely pathways, fabulous tress, great for kids, family on bike or on fun. And for the dogs. There's also toilets 😊

Absolutely my favourite place in portumna, so much activities and so much to explore! Never getting tired of it! Few rubbish bins along the main paths would be the icing on the cake.

A fantastic forest park with many kilometres of walking trails, lots of wildlife such as deer, squirrels, birds etc, lots of mushrooms and berries. A great place to walk and enjoy nature.
