The owner was really cool. He had a ton of knowledge about my family's heritage right off the bat. He let us roam alone and take as many pictures as we wanted. His admission is really cheap but we gave him more. He is very kind and sweet. In the castle itself you can see all the beauty that once was. Absolutely beautiful!!!!

Very interesting tour with Sean - Lots to see all over, beautiful. Disappointed we didn't run into any spirits, but there was an orb here and there - well recommend a visit - book ahead. "Leap Castle in County Offaly holds the impressive title of one of the most haunted castles in the world."

Sean is an amazing tour guide! He let us into his castle to tour freely on our own while making sure any questions we had were answered. The amount of history this man knows about the castle is amazing. The decor in the castle is straight out of a story book. The tour is so personable and is 100% a hidden gem. A must see in Ireland. He asks for 6 euros per person but it is worth so much more than that!

Sean Is an absolute Gent who welcomed us into his home, full of knowledge. This is a treasure of irish heritage which he himself is restoring since the 90s. I would recommend the visit, not to be missed. We will revisit again to catch up with Sean and to see what other goodies are in store. Thanks Sean, such a humble man

Sean told a very interesting history of the castle. Great restoration and wonderfully furnished. No ghostly occurrences on our visit though. Maybe next time. Great value and experience.
