Very interesting time here plus lovely scenary. Staff are lovely & very knowledgeable. Went with teenage kids who were surprisingly interested. Nice coffee van too. Only takes cash though, no cards..... more

We loved the tour, while visiting the Megalithic Cemetery near Sligo, Ireland. Our tour guide, Lynda, was wonderful. Informative, funny, knowledgeable, great story-teller. So interesting. Worth doing! So many cool myths, scientific perspectives, etc. If you're in the area, please go!

A fantastic collection of old tombs from the Neolithic Era. This is the oldest of the four large Neolithic cemeteries in Ireland. There are a collection of stone circle tombs. They can be accessed via a visitor centre. The price is five euro entry for an adult and the tour is self-guided. The complex is the oldest and the simplest of the four, and the tombs are not as structurally impressive as Newgrange or Knowth. But the place has a great charm, and the setting is very beautiful, with Benbulbin and Knocknarea visible from the tombs. Well worth a visit for anyone interested in Stone Age history.

Very intriguing collection of megalithic tombs with one central tomb thought to be the burial place of an elite ruler, in the shadows of Ben Bulben and Knocknarea. Some very well preserved tombs to be seen in the satellite tombs surrounding the central tomb.
