Can't really talk about the ballon experience as we never got to experience it! We booked before arriving in Tel Aviv and arranged it to celebrate a special birthday. Arrived and it was closed up...

Great view on Tel Aviv, part of the balloon floor is transparent, children up to 3yo fly for free, the flight itself is about 15 minutes, which is quite enough.

Waited a bit for the wind, then went up to about 400'. Unfortunately no recent rain, so skies were dusty and visibility wasn't great. Pilot was very nice and congenial, but would have been nice if he had given a bit of history or context about what we could see. Fun once, but don't need to do it again. Reasonable price though - $20 experience would have cost $50 in states...

Nice view of Tel Aviv. No real surprises though. You go up, you come down. No extra commentary by the guide. Keep in mind you might have to wait before your turn (we waited about 40 minutes). Lots of other activities to do in the Park, so this can be a nice ending for an eventful day.
