  • Fantastic
  • Inside the park of Porto Conte in Punta Giglio. It is an uncontaminated place, with clear and warmer waters than the coves closest to Alghero. Sand mixed with rocks, I recommend a mask and shoes to enter the water
  • The hike past this bay south to the cape is nice, but 8 euros per person entry into the nature park? Serious? And for this price not even a parking space and toilet at the entrance. A large gravel area is specially blocked and was once the parking lot. A real shame.
  • An enchanted place inside the Porto Conte Park. It can be easily reached on foot from the main entrance to the park. The waters are crystalline, clear and clean. Very pleasant to stop on the beach or take a regenerating bath. At sunset, the view of Capo Caccia takes your breath away.
  • It's the most overrated cove we have ever been to. It is probably worth going for a dip while exploring the park or after a picnic, but coming here specifically for the cove is definitely not worth it. The beach is small and has no sand but only stones, it looks more like a Ligurian beach than a Sardinian cove. The stones are interspersed with a myriad of dry algae, probably brought by the rough sea of the previous days, as you can see from the photos. The sea might have been crystal clear, but we found it a little rough and with a little foam, so we were unable to appreciate it or snorkel. I leave you the benefit of the doubt, maybe we were unlucky and we visited it on a day when it did not offer the best of itself, our experience was still not positive. It is not worth coming on purpose, paying 3 € each and walking 20 minutes to reach it, when there are better coves waiting to be discovered (I personally recommend Rena Majore).
