The Civetta is stunning! It such a breath taking, staggeringly rugged mountain. And seeing it from the Lago Alleghe in the foreground makes it even more beautiful.

By my standards, Monte Civetta is to be enjoyed sitting under the shade at a nearby hostelry sipping a large Aperol Spritz. With a decent pair of binoculars it is possible to watch the climbers...

It was my first hike in Dolomites. Worth the effort. Went up late afternoon, hiked around, watched sunset and went down with head torch. Booked campsite opposite road. Vualia - best experience😽

The princess of Dolomites. When attack via Alleghesi (557), I recommend descent via Tissi (558; molto difficile, austrian C/D), it is the best part of. You should bring enough of food to maintain focus till you reach Grava. #krofbanda
