    The surprisingly large old roman (?) gate is not to be missed as it dominates the main street and adds a real sense of the hisdtoric centre of the town.

    I was there on boxing day. The shopping streets and restaurants were busy with local visitors. Impressive roman ruins from 2000 years ago. All these with the snowcapped mountains as backdrops.

    Impressive Roman gates. Pedestrianised streets. Plenty of cafes and ice cream shops to choose from. Lovely gift shops also. Great scenic views.
