  • The museum itself is located in a castle, offering a fanstatic view from the terrace, but the fact that the place where Barolo was born is not offering a welcome glass of Barolo is highly...

  • This is one of the worst museums that I have visited in Europe. Mostly it is full of nonsense rooms that are meant to be art. But they advertise this as a wine museum, not an art museum. There is an interesting story to tell about the history of the Barolo wine, but this museum doesn't even attempt to tell it. They really failed hard here. They should remove everything and hire a historian to oversee the creation of an actual wine museum. The tower in Barbaresco had an Andy Warhol exhibition while we were there. It was much cooler and more interesting than this even though it is only a small tower. The Barolo wine is amazing though.
  • A very enjoyable museum. There ia a lot of very interesting text to read about the history of wine in English and Italian but you need much time to do so. I did not find a book or leaflet with the same information.
  • Not many things to do inside, but the views are amazing.
  • Cool and interactive!) You can really learn about wine here! Suggested also for kids - lot of buttons to push with no problem 😍 Entrance for adult 9€. Green pass or test is necessary
  • So ridiculous it is almost a fun experience. Too long, old and frankly weird interactive exhibitions… better to read a short book on wine history than to visit the museum. Positive aspect: the view from the 3rd floor.
