Il Capriccio Calzature, Bellagio

Barbara and her daughter Sara are wonderful. We met 5 years ago and I have worn only these shoes ever since. I order via email and send a photo of what I already bought and new ones are sent to Australia promptly and fit perfectly. They are the only shoes that have not hurt my feet ever. Love them - bought 5 pairs today in the store and my husband now also has purchased shoes. Don’t hesitate - fantastic.

If you very lucky, you will meet a person who teaches you what it means to be the quintessential salesperson. I do not mean someone who is so good at the pitch that he/she can sell you something you do not want or need. I mean Barbara, at il Capriccio, a woman who studies you and understands you and then presents you with what you might like, and then lets the the product do the talking. I wrote her first Tripadvisor review nine years ago and she has not changed. She pointedly will tell you if something is not for you. That is rare. She will continue to understand your tastes and your preferences and will bring to you the shoes that are best for you. We walked in there nine years ago, to buy a pair of men's shoes and bought ten pairs for my wife. Today, we did not intend to buy any, and bought two pair for my wife. And my wife will wear all the shoes we bought and will find them to be the most comfortable and most stylish shoes she owns, and at the right price.

The shop was wonderful, excellent selection with all our sizes! The customer service is as top notch!! They were kind, helpful and truly happy to help us! I bought the cutest pair of sandals! I can’t wait to get back there the next time we are in Bellaggio!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic customer service and shoe selection! After having read all the 5 star reviews of this store we decided to pass by and were amazed at the selection of high quality shoes made in Italy. For each pair they had almost 12 colors, and they told me I could let them know if I wanted an extra color, and they can contact the factory and get it made for you! Barbara and her daughter have a deep knowledge about shoes and after providing them with my shoe size, they were able to match different sizes depending on the brand. Also they helped me choose different styles depending on where I would use them, which also fit me very comfortably. I chose a few pairs myself first to try on as soon as I came in, but with their help, I ended up purchasing their recommendations which looked much better than the ones I had chosen initially. In total I bought 3 pairs of shoes that I love! I was also told they have an online shop on ebay, and I plan to order some more from where I currently live (USA). The value for the money is excellent, I paid what I would normally pay for a pair of steve madden or other known brands at a mall in USA which are lower quality. After a tiring day walking and shopping, I ended up forgetting my bag which had two professional cameras, in their store. Barbara's daughter ran after me and handed me back my bag. I really appreciated their honesty and them having taken the effort to seek me out to return me my bag. Thank you!!
