You have to try hard to find this little beach which is situated just off the windy road from Bosa to Alghero and accessed by scrambling down a path - but once you get there it is well worth the find.

Lovely beach! About a 10-15 min trek to get down to the beach. You can park on the side of the main road.

Sardinia is a big island but a secret germ in the Mediterranean as well. It has a few towns, where the majority of habitants live, otherwise Gene is a pure nature everywhere you go. The towns are not so beautiful as in neighbour Corsica, frankly said they look quite boring in comparison with the northern island. But the nature and nice people is what makes Sardinia really attractive. Besides famous, in high season crowded beaches, you can find remote aerias with lonely beaches, mountains, Mediterranean vegetation and forest, monuments from all eras testifying that Sardinia was populated from the very beginning of European civilization. If you like nature more than comfort hotels, you should try Sardinia.

This is a really nice beach which is accessible by bus and car, followed by a short (5 to 10 minute) walk. Keep in mind it's a steep climb down so the way back up can be tricky. Nevertheless, there were quite a few families with children (which to be honest I found impressive considering the climb). A small but of advice, don't stay on the sandy bit as soon as you get on the beach. Walk to the end of the beach, to the left if you're facing the sea and past the cave. You'll need to take your shoes off to avoid them getting wet. Then walk into the rock and all the way around to the next beach. It was so much quieter like beach 1 was crowded with umbrellas and on this beach it was just the two of us and people coming and going to snorkel or take photos. It was also a lot cooler and there were some shady spots in the afternoon. If you're coming by bus keep in mind the timings. If you miss the 3 o clock bus, then you're stuck there til 9pm, so it's a good idea to keep a taxi driver's number on you just in case.

Very nice small beach with sand, surrounded by beautiful rocks and bushes. Just 5 min hike from the parking spot
-
Wonderful place, but for the hike you better have good shoes. Sand beach with easy shallow water entrance. Lots of people though and very hot as there is no wind. Beautiful though. Very nice for snorkeling
