  • Reasonable beach to spend a few hours, parking (circa 1 Euro/ hr) is close (circa 50m) and few steps to beech front. Plenty of bars/ cafes/ restaurants within 50m of beach.

  • Great beach, clean sea, with lots of nearby cafes and restaurants. It is our favourite. Can be a bit crowded in July and August but rarely unpleasantly so.

  • Of all the nearby beaches, this is the least clean and most commercial. You're better off taking a short bus ride to one of the nicer beaches. It's good for lunch and dinner though.
  • Nice beach, you can go into the sea a long distance, excellent for kids.
  • Beautiful beach with a lot of space. You can do different things here like rent a paddling boat or do windsurfing. I think this is one of the nicest beaches on Sardinia
  • It was a fine enough beach. Good brown and black sand and shallow water for seriously far. Occasionally rocks underwater to stub your toe on but good swimming otherwise and great for kids. The water is clear but a bit weedy and unfortunately a bit dirty. It was very windy so they didn't let us take out a pedalboat which was disappointing, esp because they don't know how many wind-swept bays we've fought and conquered in pedal boats already. We're old salty hands at that but that didn't matter. It was a bit crowded but there was plenty of space and no one stepped on anyone's toes. Parking is exorbitant but I didn't tell my wife how much I actually spent on it so she doesn't need to know so don't tell her, but what you need to know is that the machine does not give change. It says it costs €7: if you only have €2 coins and put in four, well then you've paid for €8 worth of parking. Other notes: it does not appear anyone really bothers with the rubbish bins much as they were in deplorable condition. The lifeguard either doesn't understand his job or I don't understand the Sardinian definition of it: he spent the whole time staring at his phone or chatting with friends who visited, or perhaps they were simply admirers from the way they gathered adoringly around him. If someone had been not waving but drowning, he'd have just let them because he'd never ever have seen it. But we were not unhappy and the kids had a great time.
  • A nice local beach near the marina and a 3 minute drive from the Castle. An easy way to spend a lazy afternoon with a Chinò San Pellegrino or an Ichnusa (or two).
