Asotom Wine Tasting, Castelletto Merli

I gave my partner a relaxing weekend between nature and good wine! Thanks to Sara who showed me all the available packages to choose from, I decided to spend a day among the horses and the hills with my partner. The Ride and Taste package is ideal if you love animals and taste a good, totally natural wine. Once we arrived at the Marere stables, we were accompanied by Francesca (a very good teacher for beginners like us) on an almost 4-hour horse ride with a stop at Asotom, in which Sara explained to us step by step the production of their wine and many of their types. I highly recommend choosing one of the packages offered and spending a different day to relax. We will definitely come back to taste the wort! 😁

We went to Asotom for a tasting event. Sara introduced herself to us as a super nice and courteous person. Both my partner and I felt their passion for what she and Tommaso did as a winery. In addition to the laboratory where we created our personal bottles, Rain Of Castamere and Lacrime di Lys, we tasted many of their wines, one better than the other, ending with an aperitif in the upper part of the cellar, overlooking the hills. Stupendous. All. One of the best experiences of my life!

I booked the visit with the "Create your own wine!" as a gift from a non-expert on the subject, Sara welcomed us with a big smile that accompanied us throughout the afternoon. Natural wines that meet everyone's taste, even the less expert palates, certainly a plus the possibility of being able to play creating your own personal blend of wine that best suits you. The passion and love that are put into the whole production process transpire from the words and smile that Sara has in telling their philosophy and their products. We will certainly try the other experiences with the hope of being able to get to know Tommaso and his story as well.

Welcomed and guided by Sara, discovering natural wines "more organic than organic" as she usually says, she gave us a wonderful experience. Interesting is the visit / wine tasting to the cellar with wines of their production, also a wide choice of activities to be carried out. Thanks Sara, we will definitely be back also to meet Tom.
