  • The facade and the architecture are impressive and the interior is beautiful. Unfortunately, a good part of the interior was covered because of the restoration work taking place.

  • Beautiful to see.
  • Amazing
  • The Duomo is truly beautiful. Outside the facade is very particular and unique in its style, inside it is truly fascinating. The photos do not render much due to the little Luca who was inside, but it is absolutely advisable to go and see the beauty of this Cathedral, practically in the center and not far from the central station.
  • We were in chivasso for other reasons and we came across this very large and equally beautiful church. it's worth a quick visit
  • The Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the greatest examples of Piedmontese late Gothic art. Built between 1415 and 1487, the year the bell tower was completed, it is characterized by a very delicate terracotta decoration of the facade, of inestimable value both for the rarity of the work and for the quality of the plastic work in the figures represented. The interior, remodeled several times, shows a strange cohabitation of styles: the central and left aisles are the result of a neoclassical makeover dating back to the 19th century, while the right aisle highlights the pointed arches of the original building, thanks to a restoration carried out in the last century. It houses two important works: a terracotta sculptural group from the second half of the fifteenth century depicting a "Lamentation over the dead Christ", and a canvas by Defendente Ferrari (1480/1485 - 1540 circa) from Chivasso on the same subject.
