Santuario di San Patrizio, Colzate

San Patrizio abbey is unique in Bergamo landscape, castled over Colzate the view is absolutely amazing! You can visit it in the summer on the weekends, a small bar is open too ... In the big square in front of the church you can find the locals Scopa players .. inside a brief visit to the main church and the little chapel in front!

Discovered while visiting the village on its slopes for work, it gave me moments of bliss and peace during the visit. St. Patrick is linked to the devotion to the Holy Irish Bishop in this strip of Orobic land and represents a unicum in the whole Italian area, placing itself as only major place of veneration of Irish evangelism in southern Europe.

Beautiful view. Ample free parking in front of the sanctuary, free entry. At the foot of the sanctuary is the blessed water source of San Patrizio.

Spectacular view, well-kept church and kiosk with various frescoes. In addition there is a small bar where you can have a quick snack. If you want, paths start just outside for a nice hike.

Sanctuary erected on the edge of the mountain, excellent panoramic view! Stone construction. Fountain of the saint with holy water. There is a small bar inside for refreshments if you arrive on foot. Pay us a visit!
