  • You can walk here from the center city through a 3,5 km long shaded avenue (closed to car on holiday). Wonderful views out to the mountains. You can walk down to the river and walk along.

  • Best spot in Cuneo for views, sounds and energy
  • Built in the 16th century, it has become one of the symbols of the city. It houses the remains of the Blessed Angelo Carletti and the hero of the Resistance Duccio Galimberti. It is also one of the most evocative viewpoints, with its splendid view of the Bisalta
  • The Sanctuary of the Madonna degli Angeli has been a point of reference for the city since the beginning. It can be reached by walking for almost three kilometers on the avenue of the same name which is the destination for walks, runs and other activities in Cuneo. The church built overlooking a large garden in which the large cross rises with the instruments of the Passion of Christ. The balcony that runs along the eastern side shows a suggestive view of the Gesso and the Bisalta. The simple gabled façade preceded by a three-arched portico of the building well represents Franciscan sobriety.
  • Disappointing not for the Sanctuary itself, but for how it is described and for the path I decided to take, my brilliant idea, after a lavish lavish lunch. Let me explain better after having parked in C.so Nizza, I left my travel companions waiting for me sitting comfortably in a bar in the area and tackled the 2.5 km of the beautiful Viale degli Angeli to reach the Sanctuary, not even the rose garden. shadow, breathtaking views so-so, the only positive note the seats in any order along the path of the garden available to anyone. More misleading than that ........ For the record, however, there are a total of 5 Km, visit in May 2021.
  • At the bottom of Viale degli Angeli, if you are in Cuneo and you want to take a relaxing walk. On weekends the Viale is a pedestrian area, so there is even more space available and no traffic.
