  • Me and my daughter were the only persons inside. Peaceful, calm place. Time to think and pray. The church is similar to many Polish churches, which is really fine for me :)

  • The church of Sant'Antonio in Dolceacqua is one of the churches with the most spectacular facade in the area. Entering then is a unique experience: one of the few churches to have different colors of stucco on the walls. Absolutely worth a visit. DESCRIPTION Of fifteenth-century origins, it has undergone various transformations over the centuries. The definitive expansion of the church dates back to 1860 - 1865. The facade is in Baroque style. The interior is in Baroque style, divided into three naves. The characteristics of the church are: - the "polyptych of Santa Devota", by Ludovico Brea of 1515, made up of 12 compartments, and the panels of the Mysteries of the Rosary by Bernardo Castello (1582) - in the chapel of the left aisle; behind the high altar the large canvas of "Sant'Antonio Abate" by Giuseppe Vermiglio (1624); - third chapel of the right aisle the painting "Madonna, Souls in Purgatory and Triumph of the Eucharist by Maurizio Carrega and assistants", from the end of the eighteenth century. Free admission.
  • Impressive church and visually excellent.
  • Parish church of the municipality of Dolceacqua, located in Piazza Cassini at the very beginning of the medieval historic centre. Of Baroque style, it has been enhanced by a recent restoration of the facade which has brought it back to the original colors. Spacious interior full of historical-artistic finds.
  • The Church of Sant'Antonio Abate is a very particular church. It is located in a small square and what is striking are the colors that cover it. It is a fifteenth-century church with baroque ornaments inside. It is located on the right as soon as you cross the bridge next to which you will find the parking lot.
