Grotta di Ispinigoli houses a 38 m (125 ft) column, the tallest in Europe and one of the tallest in the world. Enter the cave through the immense chamber to admire this large stalactite-stalagmite compound, juxtaposed against smaller stalagmite clusters throughout. This karstic grotto also includes the Abyss of the Virgins, a deep hole leading to a 12 km (7.5 mi) series of caves, where human bones and jewelry dating back to the Bronze Age were found. Very interesting cave, easy to visit, especially on a hot day. The tour does not take long and the rock formations are marvelous. During these times, you need to wear a face mask.

If you are in the region, it is worth visiting. Moreover, there are not many things to do on the island apart from visiting beaches. Visits: every hour.

Nice cave to visit. I do find it expensive as it's only a 30 minute visit. The cave excist of 1 room, all other rooms are not open for the public. Warning: you're not allowed to take pictures inside unfortunately

Great cave to discover. The visits are at hour mainly because they close the lights every hour for 20 minutes to protect its ornaments, the stalagmites and stalagmites. The visit is both in Italian and English. It has the tallest column (when the stalagmites join the stalagmites) of Europe, 37 meters (36 of it is formed of stalagmites). The cave and all it’s galleries are still to be explored. To date 17km have been explorer. The ticket of 8 € (adult) gives you a free visit of the archeological museum in Dorgali (15 minutes away). The is a hotel-restaurant near buy. I would advise to take a coffee or having lunch. The view is spectacular and the food is incredible.

Worth seeing, the guide was competent, it was nice to have a free time to watch the place on your own after staff's introduction.

An amazing experience. A very fast tour as this is a huge chamber cave, the only one accessible to the public. Stairs going down 50 meters drop to the bottom of the cave. Biggest pity? No photos allowed.

Really interesting place to visit as a couple or family. If you are a diver, you would feel like you are in the Red Sea with lots of strange reefs around you but no fish. Quite interesting to imagine what different rock formations look like. Some of them are really frightening and the whole place looks like hell or purgatory at places. Beware of the timetable that is changing according to the season - there is no clear timetable online, so i attached a photo of it - summer months every hour without lunch pause, otherwise - closed from 12 to 3pm. An advice - come to the cave in the morning and after go to the the Cartoe beach - sand, stones in the sea, free parking, few people, very clean and water is cristall-clear. Unlike all the other places we have visited on our way down from Olbia.
