Azienda Biologica De Sanctis, Frascati

Azienda Biologica De Sanctis was amazing!! The vineyard is in a beautiful setting. We had a different tour cancel the morning-of due to a positive Covid test, so we called around to look for other available tours. They were very accommodating of our last minute request!! The tour was nice and very informative. The whole experience felt very personal, and our guide answered all of our many questions about the wine-making process. We got to try three different delicious wines that were paired with meats and cheeses. It was inspiring to hear about Francesco’s passion for his work. Overall, one of my favorite experiences from our visit to Rome. I cannot recommend enough!!!

Chiara was very friendly and showed us around the vineyard. It’s a family operated business and the wine has a really good quality and is organic. We really recommend a tasting of the Frascati and the Rosè. We were lucky to see the harvesting too.

De Sanctis winery is an amazingly beautiful place. The owner is a very friendly man, he speaks good English and can tell you all you want to know about wine making. It was very easy to get there from the city centre by taxi. I highly recommend to visit it, specially on the sunset, it’s magical and the wines are top notch. Thank you very much for having us!
