Lago DI Levico, Levico Terme

This lake is like Cinderella. Much nicer than the dominant sister Caldonazzo. A great footpath on the eastern bank leads directly along the lake and takes you into the magical nature.

Great place to spend the day! Only a bit too busy on Sundays but all good :)

It is a beautiful blue and azure lake with a small public beach. It deserves a visit. The lake is surrounded by green lawns where people lay in the sun. There are a few hotels with restaurants/bars and private beach resorts. It is advisable to bring a towel if you intend to stay long and to have a bottle of water and a sandwich with you to enjoy the day without having to go around looking for a bar or a supermarket because I did not see any in the immediate vicinity of the lake while the nearest restaurant/bar was too crowded with people standing in line.

Nice place to enjoy the lake during summer

Fantastic place with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains around. There is a nice path circling the whole area which is family friendly. Start your tour at Levico Terme, there is a car park and a clear access to the lake. If you are using public transport, you will have to walk through the town centre to access the site. Once on the other side of the lake, there's no protected path for pedestrian to reach Ischia and San Cristoforo.
