  • Very interesting place which showed how the mountain people lived in the not so distant past. The custodian, a very old lady who speaks no English , still manages to convey her love of the place to those with no Italian. I had never seen a marmot trap before ; not sure I want to see one again, but that was part of the life . The surrounding scenery of the Monte Rosa range is absolutely stunning. I could live there quite happily, after I improve my Italian. Makes for great photography. My camera shots are a lot better but these phone shots will.give some idea.
  • Epic mountain scenery. Nice place for refreshments. Take the cable car to get the best views.
  • Fascinating insight into the history of the area
  • Lovely
  • Not to be missed if you are in the area! Mrs. Lia, who visited us, told us with great passion and emotion the life of the Walser in history and gave us a wonderful experience. The house is very well preserved and full of tools they used at the time. 3 euros for the ticket is very little for what it offers!
