Museo del Novecento, Milan

This museum features Italian art from the 20th century. The exposition is very well curated and the period that for us was for particularly interesting were the three last decades. The architecture is striking and you have a beautiful view facing the Duomo through the gigantic windows on the uppermost floor. We have picked only a few paintings and statues to show you what you can expect, some of which have been extremely controversial.

Every modern art lover will feel the vibe in the museum. I enjoyed it a lot - next to their top ten pieces also the Italian treasures that are exhibited. The ticket price is currently 5€. I was positively amazed and shocked.

We enjoyed this art gallery. Quite a lot to see. The layout is a tiny bit weird. You also get a nice view out to the Duomo with air conditioning! Good selection of art and installations. Good value when you book it with the multi museum ticket. Definitely worth a visit especially if you need an escape from the sun for a bit. Very central and easy to get to.

I loved everything (almost)! The art is amazing and the museum is beautiful. But the people who worked there weren't very kind. Except for the lady right at the door. The lady who gave us our tickets was very rude and unpleasant because we couldn't speak Italian and didn't hear too well with the mask.

A big collection of Italian contemporary art. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Milan. The building is big so spare some time here. There is also a floor with big windows that you can see a very nice view of Duomo.
