  • The Ecomuseum of the Rocche is a museum spread throughout the Roero area, it includes about twenty municipalities and has a branch with a tourist information office in Montà in Piazzetta della Vecchia Segheria, where the new Truffle museum will be built. The Rocche are a gift of geological evolution, a unique landscape, between cliffs and sandy walls, with sudden plains or centuries-old woods or ancient churches. Inside the Eco museum there are trekking routes suitable for everyone, over 300 km of bike paths, mapped, marked and with assistance from an easy-to-use App. In addition, the area is rich in history and food and wine, with wines and truffles of exceptional quality. In short, Roero is a place to discover, still on a human scale.
  • This open-air museum owes its name to the huge 32 km long fracture that unites the beautiful and relaxing hilly landscape of the Roero in the area between Bra and Cisterna d'Asti. At Montà we set off along the wolf path, one of the many indicated and which intersect along the S1 ridge, that is the Great Roero Path which also includes the MTB routes of the Roero Bike Tour and the Valle delle Rocche Outdoor Center Walks among centuries-old chestnut trees among the largest in Europe, hazelnut groves, sunny and tidy vineyards and stories of wild boars and legends of wolves in the air admiring views of hills, small villages and fortresses that, especially from Monteu Roero amaze for the wild beauty . I would say a remarkable natural heritage that, in fact, you can discover through the Roero Hiking Network: various ring routes that remind and protect the nature and cultural identity of this strip of Piedmontese territory.
  • We walked the "Sentiero della Masca" and from how it is presented on the site we expected something different and much more refined. This does not mean that a walk in nature is always regenerating and relaxing. If you want to know more, watch the video and read our travel diary on the blog.
  • Very beautiful places. Not enough signage. Path maintenance not good. With the GPS tracks you can overcome the difficulty of signposting but you cannot avoid being scarred by the brambles. We are not!!!!
  • The route is really beautiful. Not too easy, not too difficult. Sometimes poorly signposted. And the paper guide taken from the ecomuseum isn't very useful in these cases... It's better to download the tracks from the site. The information on the site is up-to-date and accurate. To redo!
