Giacomo was an excellent host! He provided our group of 12 with a fabulous overview of his wine making taking questions from us and providing great explanations. Following the wine tasting, we had a delightful luncheon onsite. Of course, we enjoyed the wines and ending up having some shipped to us in the USA. Thank you Giacomo for your gracious hospitality.

Came for wine tasting and learned got to learn about Brunello wines from one of the most passionate farmers in Montalcino. This is not a fancy dress your best experience. The owner/farmer is there himself to describe his art of growing and processing his products. An awesome experience and would highly recommend for anybody interested in Brunello’s. We thoroughly enjoyed his wines and the time we got to spend at the farm.

We had a great stay at Podere Il Cocco. Spontaneously booked a night on our way up to Firenze and enjoyed the night very much. Simple but honest and delicious food, good wines (of course we had to try it all☺️) and interesting talks with the owner/winemaker Giacomo, who also showed us around. Also the room was simple but appropriate, cozy and offers all you need. We definitely recommend Il Cocco if you are looking for a real Agritourismo experience!

Great wine tasting. The ethos behind the winemaking is special and the tour was intimate and very informative!
