  • What a place, tranquil, up in the mountains, red and white walk, 10 miles, 2500 feet up and you can't hear anything, IT'S BLISS
  • An hour-long walk in the woods, which can also be traveled by children. Very convenient parking near the beginning of the path "C" which takes you to the waterfall. We went on the afternoon of April 24th and there was hardly anyone there. Well-kept path with wooden bridges to cross the streams of water that flow almost everywhere. The signage present on the spot is good, even if in reality it is difficult to get the wrong route. Trekking shoes are recommended but very feasible even with simple sneakers. Not suitable for people with walking problems. The waterfall can be seen in the distance, those who expect the classic image of the waterfall that flows into the lake below will be disappointed, those who are nature lovers without too many artifices will be satisfied. I've read some reviews that talked about the entrance ticket, it depends on the day of the visit, consulting the website can help you understand better. The presence of equipped areas, tables and fountains, also invites you to organize yourself to spend the whole day there, but on their use there is a possible regulation, it is always advisable to inquire beforehand, let us not forget that we are inside a nature reserve. Only two negative notes: the bad habit of carving the initials of names on the bark of the trees and the presence of barbed wire to replace a fence net, a wire dangerous for animals and children.
  • When you arrive on site, you immediately notice that the place is well managed. 2 euro is the cost of the entrance ticket .. a large, well-kept and clean car park also costs 2 euro, after which you set off towards the woods following a path well planned by an easy path for both children and seniors, a place suitable for families. A few meters further on there is a refreshment area complete with a bar restaurant, outdoor tables and a clean and well-kept bathroom. After less than a km you will meet the waterfalls that undoubtedly have a great impact ... continuing along the path the arrows take you to the parking lot. The whole has a length of about 2km, which is very easy to travel.
  • The strong point of the place is certainly the waterfall; not least the path in the woods, easy to follow and also recommended for families with children. Equipped picnic area and if lucky with an open refreshment point you have all the comforts for a day outdoors....
  • I was able to see this waterfall about a year ago, but I could not find the photos taken, the ones posted are not of high quality but I hope they will make you understand the beauty of the place ... 🍀If you start from Rome, as always highway A 24 direction Aquila, the magical place to go to is Morino (AQ) The waterfall is "scenic" in the broadest sense of the term, you will see it from afar, from km 😁 this because it comes out of the rock between the mountains with strength and with a very high jump. Once you arrive you have to enter, pay a small ticket and park. You will begin the walk in the woods with extraordinary old trees, in the shade, and with many rivulets of water that you will often find yourself crossing on comfortable walkways or wooden bridges. Easy route, it is not marked because you just have to follow the road, it is nice to do, everything, up to the waterfall and even beyond following the watercourse that descends. If you want you can also stop in the picnic area, and take advantage of the presence under the waterfall of a small bar and toilets, the guys who take care of the place are very kind.NB C is a larger picnic area also near the parking lots
