  • Highlight of the town has over 7000 items of local crafts and costumes. Incredible arts and crafts and bread artisan ship. We loved the Travolta degli antichi, an Alladin’s cave of gourmet treats...

  • Bring some time with you, it's worth it. Unfortunately they close at midday - which is fine - but i was irritated by the fact that we were kicked out about ten minutes before they close because the time was more of a guideline. So they closed early and i missed out on some really interesting exhibits.
  • There is a wide exposition of Sardinian culture, traditions and people. It is very impressive especially the bread hall and the costumes
  • Well worth the visit. We spent about an hour. The bread and mask sections were the highlights for us. Audio guides in English are available for 2 euros, and can be shared amongst two headsets. Make sure you visit the area in the outbuilding which has a separate exhibition.
  • Must do in Nuoro, learn about sardinian history culture n more
  • An excellent museum on the cultural and political history of Sardinia. While modest in size, the museum was rich in detail, well laid out, modern, and an overall pleasurable experience. If you're interested in seeing more than just the beaches of Sardinia, this should be on your list. A note for English-speaking travelers: while there is some English language information, the majority of exhibits are in Italian/Sardu.
