Beautiful viewing point. The church is nothing special. Closed and probably waiting for restoration. There was a supervision post, not sure why…. Protecting the church from people who want to get in????

It is possible that they all boast a unique panorama, a wonderful view, an important position. And all the rest ? Decay everywhere, even if a recent mowing has been done, crumbling doors. But the worst, yes the worst is on the inside. I managed to enter and I understood why there is no information or guide that allows you to visit the interior. Destroyed carved stone artifacts, propped arches. Materials of all kinds thrown here and there. It's a shame (see photo.) And a church that left to neglect will have a short life. And we look at the view and we are blind to the rest. I wanted to give a star but I thought I'd give credit to those who, centuries back, were able to build a masterpiece of this kind with the means of the past. I still don't understand the institutions and the rest of this self-destructing Italy.
