  • Place of spirituality and contemplation of one's soul. Inside the Institute there are the nuns of the Franciscan order of Santa Filippa Mareri who welcome pilgrims making them visit the museum annexed to the Institute, as well as hosting them in the rooms and making them have lunch and/or dinner in their canteen. The rooms, canteen and toilets are clean. Beautiful life experience that I recommend.
  • To be seen. Especially the whole part of the museum is very interesting. Getting started You listen to one of the nuns who tells the whole story of Santa Filippa then you enter the museum with numerous valuable remains both of the saint and very important things that belonged to her. It should be remembered that this Institute was the original one from around 1200 and under the lake and then they had to rebuild it because when it was purchased the part was filled with water They had to send the nuns away and build a new monastery for it
  • I have been frequenting this place for over thirty years. I went to discover the places of Santa Filippa Mareri and I found the welcome of the nuns as in the Franciscan tradition. Humility and smile, faith, prayer and industriousness. I have never interrupted the pilgrimage on the day of the celebration. Filippa has won my heart.
  • I lived for three years in the Santa Filippa Mareri institute where I attended middle school. They were very beautiful years that I always remember. The schoolmates were like sisters, the nuns were always affectionate with everyone... I won't go on too long but truly unforgettable years.
  • Do not miss the small museum inside, which can be visited by asking the sisters
