Appreciate the architecture of the palaces, churches, and statues in vast, open Knights’ Square. Behind the statue and fountain of Cosimo I stands the Palazzo della Carovana dei Cavalieri, which now houses the Scuola Normale Superiore, the elite university founded by Napoleon Bonaparte. A large square in front of a very prestigious university. There is not much to see or do, however I recommend going at night, very nice atmosphere for meeting young people.

Piazza dei Cavalieri, also known as Knights' Square, is a historic square located in the heart of Pisa, Italy. It is considered one of the most important architectural masterpieces of the Renaissance era and one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The square is surrounded by several important buildings, including the Palace of the Knights of Malta, the church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, and the Palazzo della Carovana. The Palace of the Knights of Malta, built in the 16th century, is the most impressive building in the square and was once the headquarters of the Knights of Malta. Today, it serves as a cultural center and hosts exhibitions, concerts, and other events. The church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri is another notable landmark in the square. It was built in the 16th century and is known for its elegant Renaissance style. The Palazzo della Carovana, which was once the home of the Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, is now the headquarters of the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, one of Italy's most prestigious universities. Piazza dei Cavalieri is a popular tourist destination and is surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, and shops. Visitors can also enjoy stunning views of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is located just a few minutes away from the square. Overall, Piazza dei Cavalieri is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, architecture, and art.👌🏻👌🏻

Brilliant looking place beautifully.
-
The square looks nice but the church was close and on one side there was a building renovation so it was noisy. But you should take a walk in the square.
-
Good place very near to the leaning tower of Pisa. The square is nice and usually not crowded. The statue is also good ! It's old architecture building in Pisa.
