  • A fascinating town, especially when combined with a walk through one of the via cave routes. Some parts are a little run down and the number of 'for sale' signs is a little worrying for it's long...

  • This is a brilliant place to visit, shops, food, wine, it's a place for great photography, homes built into the tulfa rock.
  • It's magic
  • Beautiful
  • probably the most beautiful of the "citta del tufo". The historic center is not large and can be explored within an hour. Maybe two. Restaurants, alleys, shops... and also Jewish monuments. It is also called little Jerusalem here. But Pitigliano is probably the most beautiful from a distance - either from Via San Michele, where you can park, or (better) from the Madonna delle Grazie church, where the view is probably the most beautiful. And there is also a small shop with excellent local wine.
  • Suddenly it appears... a charm! Perched on the hill with its unique architecture. Too bad the cars in the main pizza... The village can be crossed on the two main roads, we have traveled one going and one returning, narrow spaces that open into breathtaking squares. It is pleasant to get lost in the alleys, in the glimpses and views of the landscape. There are moments in which one understands what Beauty is: nature and architecture complement each other. That's why walking in the streets you hear various languages of the world!
