    A beautiful place where you can arrive after a hike of one hour and a half on a trail inside the “ bosco della Alevè” The hike is recommended also for kids. We ate polenta and was very good.

    We've been at the Rifugio Bagnour during our GTA 2021. The hosts were very friendly and we had an amazing dinner, which started with an apero in front of the Rifugio. Also for breakfast we had a very good selection with home made bread - fabulous. The room was nice an clean. So it was really a good accomodation and we had great fun with our friends.

    Meanwhile, the walk is demanding, but the place is beautiful and worth it. It is advisable to have trekking shoes and to book. The refuge is really nice, the staff is fast, there isn't much choice on the menu but the portions are abundant, the price is right and the food is delicious. I had an appetizer, polenta concia with a cream of gorgonzola and leeks and a spectacular chocolate cake. My partner on the other hand had polenta with sausage and a blueberry tart. We were really satisfied with the beautiful trip and the whole day, the Val Varaita is splendid!
