Villa Cimbrone Gardens
One of the highlights of Villa Cimbrone Gardens is the Terrace of Infinity, a natural balcony with 18th-century marble busts and views of the sea, lemon groves, and mountains. As you walk through gardens of this historic villa, you'll wander past oak, alder, and chestnut trees. Make your way down to the natural cave that is home to a 19th-century marble statue of Eve. Walk up the stairway to the rose gardens to breathe in the scent of French and English roses. Look for the inscription quoting poet Omar Khayyám. Latch on to a guide at the entrance if you want to see all the sculptures and learn their stories. Time slows down when you walk this garden and enjoy the views of the sea. Quite large ne well curated garden. Quite flat as well for the area :)

Worth a visit and the entry fee (€10) for the views alone. Off the beaten track a bit so wasn't busy at all. Drinks are pricey inside (€5 for a can of soda). Amazing views of the area. Very beautiful, well kept gardens.

The most beautiful place with views to die for and Michelin star restaurant with service that makes you feel like the Queen. I can't wait to go back there. Also very romantic I must say with weddings happening almost every day. Gorgeous, stunning and highly recommended. If you can afford to spend a couple of nights there...do it. Experience of a lifetime

This is a review for the gardens, which is a must visit if in Ravello. If arriving in Ravello by bus, it’s about a 10 minute walk here and the walk itself is quite nice. We did Ravello as a day trip and this was our favorite part of the town. Right when you enter the gardens you see a long walkway that just makes you want to take 100 pictures. Once you reach the end, there’s a beautiful view of the ocean. The garden itself is spacious enough for a comfortable stroll and small enough that you can see all of it without feeling tired or bored. We also visited Villa Rufolo and we enjoyed Villa Cimbrone much more.

This has been a very difficult review to write. This hotel is beautiful, an ancient Roman villa set in stunning gardens which over look the Amalfi coast. So why the four stars I hear you ask, simply the food in the restaurant, the food is bland and tasteless and frankly a real disappointment. The first night we booked the Michelin Star restaurant and my recommendation to the Michelin assessors is to revisit this decision. The next night we tried the bar and had a risotto, which was tiny and tasteless, the main was steak and there was more gristle than meat, in the end I refused to pay for it. The last night we eat outside of the hotel. This is a massive disappointment for my wife and I as this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in, the rooms were lovely, bed comfortable, view lovely. The other point to make is the staff are professional, but it feels like they are doing you a favour, it is not as welcoming as you would expect for an establishment of this type. It was really odd and hard to put your finger on the problem. They just don’t care about their guests in my view. Would I stay there again, yes, but I would eat elsewhere.

As a wedding photographer, Villa Cimbrone is one of my favorite venues across Italy! Let me start by how versatile this venue is. I have photographed many weddings there and every time it's a unique experience! So many choices for where to have the ceremony, the dinner reception and the cocktail. The Belvedere terrace with the iconic views of the ocean and the Amalfi Coast, the gardens, the crypt that takes you back to another time. It's always a pleasure to work there!
