The castle and tower belonged to the Del Carretto marquisate which controlled huge portions of lands in Piedmont and Liguria in the Middle Ages. In reality not much to do, half hour is enough. Mind.... more

On the top of Roccaverano there is a castle with great views you can get all the way to the top of the tower.

Some remains of the castle and the TOWER almost 30 meters high and deep have been preserved The recent restorations have allowed a global tourist use of the building, with the possibility of climbing the tower and the creation of a wooden balcony at the first floor of the castle, which allows you to look out over the mullioned windows for an overall and elevated view of the parish church and the square.

The castle now reduced to a few ruins. The watchtower has remained important, which can be visited with a little attention, where once you get to the top you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Piedmontese Langhe and if you are lucky you can see the Alps with Monviso.

To get there you travel along very beautiful and quiet roads, the Castle is right in the center of the village at the highest point. It's all very beautiful
