  • Vegetables, fruit, cheese, meat, seafood, all of this about as fresh as you can get. Wonderful place to visit even if you don't live in Rome. We purchased from about 5 different stands using our limited Italian and the owners were incredibly kind, many also speak English. There are some rare imports like mangos, avocados and sweet potatoes, but most everything else is grown in Italy.
  • A very pleasant covered market with very pleasant people selling vegetables, pastries, meats, fish and cheese. The atmosphere is great, it's beautiful, and the selection of food is great. Highly recommended even if just to take a look at the mushrooms and the artichokes or buy a bit of cheese (that can be wrapped for air traveling too). The bathrooms could do much better, however.
  • Love it. So many fascinating stalls, tasty fresh food, even good coffee and panini.
  • Very nice, authentic market with great quality food and friendly shopkeepers. We got some bread at one shop & went to a butchers to have our rolls turned into the best sandwiches one could wish for! Yummy!
  • Went on a food tour here. The market is amazing. There is everything you could want. Everyone is very nice. The pizza and wine inside the market is awesome!
