The castle wasn't open and nor was the church , but San Benedetto chapel was and there happened to be a bunch of people playing piano right inside it, great acustic and loved the private concert. There's a really nice bench by the chapel with a great view and beautiful tree shading it, a great spot to spend some chill time. The view is amazing especially when there are some light fogs /clouds

Nice village, still as it once was. The walk through the flowering lavender fields is beautiful. There are also fields of other medicinal herbs. The info point indicates various routes to do on foot. We chose to do what we were told would take 2 1/2 hours. Take about 4 hours of actual walking. Yes, we don't have a fast pace, but we don't pass close to the fields without stopping to take some pictures.

Imposing castle, very beautiful structure. Too bad it is not kept as it deserves. It no longer belongs to the family, I hope it will be destined for a more pleasant life. Interesting outing even if out of season regarding lavender blooms.
