Was really impressed would be interested to know how the keepers manage over the winter months lol

Not an easy place to find, as in the section where it would be most needed, i.e. the last km, there are no signs indicating its position. We are talking about a stretch in a hilly area, with a bumpy road, where only one car passes. The structure is very extensive, but it is also very badly reduced. It would need a lot, but a lot of maintenance. There are many animals, with relative description, to see. In a couple of hours you can see them all, following the recommended routes. There is also a packed lunch area. There is a small bar next door which provides sandwiches, drinks and ice cream. There are two parking lots.

Great place if you want to spend a relaxing Sunday surrounded by flora and fauna. You can find many species of animals I must say very well kept. The entry price is affordable if you think of all that you can visit and see. I highly recommend it.

Better than we expected. Despite the somewhat tortuous road to get there, for a modest price (€30 for two adults + 1 child) a small walk among the animals. All quite clean, except for the initial cages where there are porcupines, dog raccoons, etc. Perhaps due to the slightly more enclosed space, the smell was quite unpleasant and pungent. Otherwise a good alternative to spend 1-2 hours (or more) especially with children. We were also given packets of complimentary breadsticks, the staff were very kind. The prices at the bar were fair and the customer care was very welcome. A must try if you are in the area!

Original zoo/park. mainly ungulates and a lot of birds. Also very nice that some of the animals can be fed. Park is built against the mountain. Lots of climbing and descending. But with small children or buggy to do well. At least 2 hours of entertainment.
