Pick up in Sanremo (tickets are cash only), continue to one more town and then out to sea. Unfortunately, we did not spot whales (although the crew was trying hard), but saw four groups of dolphins...

We turned up and were fortunate enough to be able to walk on but I understand that booking in advance is recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful. The boat is good and maybe could offer more...

We weren't lucky enough to see very much, one ray and one sunfish, but certainly wasn't due to any lack of effort by staff and when they announced that we could reuse our tickets for another trip at no extra charge we were very pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyable day out. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to being luckier next time.

The trip was well organized, perhaps in the high season when there is no shortage of people, I would avoid the downtime of the stopovers to invest more time in exploration; the explanations were exhaustive, the excursion companions less pleasant: one would expect an audience with a certain "environmental sensitivity" but from how most of them behave - and from the conditions in which they leave the bathroom - they would do better to watch the cetaceans from TV their house... We have only encountered groups of striped dolphins, but sightings cannot be a mandatory part of the package, so the budget could have been even leaner!
