The Sacro Monte di Crea (literally "Sacred Mountain of Crea", although it is built on a hill rather than a mountain) is a Roman Catholic sanctuary in the comune of Serralunga di Crea, Piedmont, northern Italy. It is reached via a steeply ascending route which winds through a wooded natural park, whose flora was catalogued by the Casalese photographer and polymath Francesco Negri.

Nice walk around the chapels. Great views and perfect for a picknick under the trees. Ideal combination with wine tasting at Tenuta Tenaglia just around the corner.

Very very beautiful place worth paying a visit if you're around.. very relaxing and count as a bit of exercise because you're going up a little mountain to see all these 12/13 little old churches with paints on the walls or sculptures of Jesus life! If you're religious it's nice to reflect and pray while you're doing this walk.

A nice walk around the historic chapels from 1580 onward in a beautiful, quiet park full of panoramic views, benches and places to have a light lunch. The entrance and parking are entirely free. Some chapels are under maintenance and I wonder if maybe a small entrance fee could contribute to maintain, restore and improve this place that in every other country besides Italy would be an absolute highlight.

Even when you are not religious, it is a nice walk on the hill and stopping at each small chapel to look at the statues and wall paintings. You also have some great views on the area surrounding the hill.

Sanctuary is easily reached by car with good free parking nearby. Very nice inside with remarkable 'Affresco'. All around nice walk in a green area.
