  • UNSETTLING This castle stands on a rocky outcrop overlooking Cesnola and Torre Daniele, on a variant of the Via Francigena. The panorama is truly stupendous from this place and can be reached by mule tracks from the two towns indicated above. We have little information about this castle, and the first dates back to the 11th century. Destroyed in the 16th century by Duke Charles III of Savoy, it was rearranged by the Palma di Cesnola family. Currently it is in a state of abandonment and invaded by brambles and plants, it is a bit disturbing. Not far away you can admire an oven for cooking limestone and the production of lime.
  • Ideal place to find some peace. It can be reached on foot or by bike
  • Beautiful beautiful beautiful .. but unfortunately totally abandoned and not valued. It deserves a restoration.
  • Wonderful panorama, easily reachable from Cesnola, it still seems in fair condition we hope for a restoration.
  • Very suggestive. However, it is necessary to clean up and make the whole route accessible
