Giardino botanico Carsiana, Borgo Grotta Gigante

An exemplary arrangement and presentation of the botanical garden of karst botany. Personally, I am not a connoisseur or an enthusiast of botany, but I was positively surprised by the work of the repairmen. Right next to the asphalt road, parking, free entry. Watch the schedule.

A few kilometers from the Grotta Gigante you can visit this small botanical garden, with free admission. It is housed in a karst sinkhole and collects a wide range of plants typical of this area. It is divided into ten small thematic areas, illustrated on a map that is provided to you at the entrance. We saw it in September, when there are very few flowering plants, and without a guided tour to entertain us. Consequently, only with a quick explanation at the entrance, we enjoyed it a little, limiting ourselves to covering the circuit in about twenty minutes. It will certainly be magnificent in the right season and with the right explanation!

A place cared for with love and very beautiful to see. An overview of well-kept paths and typical views of the Karst. In my opinion, beautiful in any season 🌷🌱🌳

Fantastic. It is located a few kilometers from the giant's cave and illustrates the typical karst flora. Free. Excellently maintained, a must see.
