Create an itinerary including La Pelosa Beach
Well-known for its fine white sand, La Pelosa Beach offers views of Asinara Island. Go for a dip in the clear turquoise sea and look for fish. The water is not very deep, but you may sometimes encounter a strong current. Vendors wander up and down the beach touting a variety of trinkets. If you are not interested, simply ignore them or firmly say, "No, thank you." • The views are amazing but you need to book in advance to use the beach in full season or you will need to find a spot on the rocks :)

  • We visited La Pelosa Beach at the beginning of October on a sunny day. When we arrived at around 11am there were a few parking spaces left next to the La Pelosseta entrance. Beware of the touts, they will approach you right after you get out of your car and will start selling you the mats, even before you will pick your thinkgs from the car or unbuckle your children, so that is a bit annoying. I thought there would be some official place where you can buy the mats, but I haven’t found one, so ended up buying from the tout. One guy offered me two big mats for 15€ and then was ready to sell for 10€, but then he was gone, so I ended up buying two for 15€ (7,5€ each). The beach itself is really beautiful, it was quite crowded compared to other beaches we visited in Sardinia, but not too bad. For those who want to visit in summer but do not manage to get a booking, I would still recommend to visit La Pelosa and Pelosseta just like a sighseeing stop, you can really enjoy the views of the water from above, there is a nice rooftop viewing point, where you can see both beaches. After the stop you can hit some other less crowded beach.
  • Beautiful beach, blue like no other. Book in advance online first, access from 8 to 18h. Staff will give you a bracelet so you can come and go as you please. Cost € 3.5 per person (July) pets are not allowed, you can not smoke on the beach, you have spots available for that, a mat under the towel is mandatory if you want to lay in the sand. You have access to showers and WC. You can rent Parasol (2chairs+1umbrella €35) or you can bring your own if you want. Parking is 2.5€ per hour in most area. You can download the app (EasyPark) and pay per minutes too. Amazing experience, love everything about it. Great for children, families, couples. You have to spend the day there.
  • This beach was amazingly beautiful. The water was so turquoise and calm. And of course it was packed like crazy. We went in high season August 2019. So I wasn't shocked. But even with the quantity of people, it didn't detract from the beauty.
  • Of the nicest beach we have seen in Sardegna. Not as private though. Perfect for families. We did not have to pay for parking or to access the beach. The were showers to clean our feet at the exit.
  • Amazing beach, definitely a slice of the paradise! Great for families with little ones. Remember to reserve your visit during the high season period.
