Great, succinct museum in a place charged with heavy, too recent history. Definitely worth a visit. Plan about 30-40 mins. Audioguides currently unavailable due to covid.

If you are in to WWII history, it's a must see. One of the only Nazi concentration camps in Italy, it was active until the Nazis moved out and blew up the evidence. There are heart breaking stories associated with the prisoners there, just like all of the camps. Made two of our kids cry. Which isn't hard for those two tender souls.

Moving experience! Well restored and maintained facility. High walls give a feeling of being in prison. Of course, nothing can replicate the actual experience. But a visit here is worthwhile.
