Very nice and educational experience for children and adults, you start from the museum on foot with the guide and walk about 3 km climbing the mountain adjacent to the town, in addition to enjoying nature you visit places where artifacts have been found and where they have been reconstructed with local materials. Inside the museum, another guide and thematic panels explain the use of materials and technologies that primitive men used with reconstructions also created during the workshops

A must visit museum! The building has been completely renovated and currently houses the exhibition "Vaie in prehistory: fragments of a material culture" An experimental exhibition that places the find at the center of the narrative by making it dialogue with other fragments of history and with the places to which it belonged. The exhibition focuses on the sensorial and interactive aspect, allowing users to touch a series of experimental reconstructions of the main finds in a suggestive and immersive scenario. In the museum it is possible to see three prehistoric axes found in the Rumanio di Vaie shelter, loaned by the Royal Museums of Turin on the occasion of the exhibition.

Nice museum, there is also the external part to do, which is about 200m away. From there you take an uphill path inside the wood and return to the road to the museum (you make a sort of loop) 30/40 minutes with the guide.

I recommend you go very educational and fun even for children. the guides are prepared and know how to deal with the little ones
